In Support of Breast Cancer Research, Self-Guided Outdoor Floral Trail to Feature Stunning Designs by Top Local Florists

Decorating the streets of Vancouver’s downtown core with beautiful floral art displays, the Canadian premiere of Fleurs de Villes ROSÉ will take place June 11th-20th. In support of breast cancer research and hosted by the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association and Robson Street Business Association, the floral trail will feature over 50 pop-up installations in the heart of the city, created by Vancouver’s top florists.

Fleurs de Villes ROSÉ will feature floral couture mannequins, giant floral hearts, flower bombed antique cars, phone booths bursting with blossoms, and elegant sculptures. The one-of-a-kind show will be freely open to the public, and visitors will be able to safely walk the self-guided exhibit while adhering to social distancing guidelines.

Beginning June 11th, visitors can pick up a map or scan a QR code to begin at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, and follow the trail over to Robson Street, and down to the waterfront. Guests are also encouraged to cycle the trail by picking up a Mobi by Shaw Go bike from one of the flower-adorned stations at Bute and Robson or Shaw Tower, located at Cordova and Thurlow. From June 11th – 20th use promo code ‘rose’ and get 25% off a 30-Day Pass to Mobi by Shaw Go.

The Vancouver Art Gallery’s 1931 Gallery Bistro will be hosting the Kim Crawford Rosé Terrace, offering refreshing glasses of Kim Crawford Rosé and a special Floral High Tea menu. Trail walkers will also be able to stop by the new Oakridge x Pac Rim Patio, located in the plaza between the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel and Shaw Tower. Enjoy a beverage and meal from the Oakridge floral-adorned food truck, or head to Chef David Hawksworth’s Nightingale restaurant for a feature ROSÉ menu.

Visitors can experience two incredible floral sculptures in-store at Holt Renfrew, the National Bank’s series of beautiful floral hearts, a stunning and modern ROSÉ bride at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel, and The Panabode Rosé Cottage at the Fairmont Waterfront Centre Hotel – a picturesque country cottage bursting with pink blossoms. Guests can also visit the French Jardin inspired swing along with two stunning mannequins on the new Dunsmuir Patio, and flower-adorned Fountain of the Pioneers on the Burrard Benches, in the brand new plazas at Bentall Centre.

While traveling up Robson Street, guests will find floral flourishes at Aritzia, Banana Republic, Blue Ruby, Indigo, The Couturist, Blue Horizon Hotel, and more. Fresh pop-up flower markets will also be held in numerous locations along the trail on June 13th, with a portion of the proceeds supporting breast cancer research.

“We are delighted to open our beautiful floral trails in Canada this year in our own backyard of Vancouver. With such enthusiasm from so many community partners, this is an important event helping to draw people together to support local businesses, florists and breast cancer research,” says Karen Marshall, Co-Founder of Fleurs de Villes.

We all know someone who has been affected by breast cancer,” said Kimberly Carson, CEO, Breast Cancer Society of Canada. “We are grateful for Fleurs de Villes and the Sponsors for their support and for raising awareness of the need to continue to fund life-saving breast cancer research. We invite everyone to join us at Fleurs de Villes ROSÉ in Vancouver and help ‘cultivate the cure for breast cancer’ by donating to support precision oncology research.”
