Tourism Vancouver Winter / Spring Campaign Update

In keeping with our Business Sprint approach, Tourism Vancouver is conscious of the need to be nimble within the current COVID-19 landscape. As such, our Winter promotion continues to be on hold until February 5th and is being adjusted for seasonality and theme.
After that time, we will be launching an engagement & social media campaign to begin re-stimulating the demand for our city’s many attractions, restaurants, accommodations, exhibits, sightseeing, shops and neighbourhoods. Locals will be encouraged to share what they love most and are missing about their city and what they cannot wait to get back to. This will generate content which will be used in a subsequent phase. We will also highlight activities such as Dine Out Vancouver, Vancouver Mural Festival Winter Arts, and other offers and activities in our neighbourhoods.
The February engagement campaign will include a contest, and we will launch a refreshed micro-site within the Tourism Vancouver website domain, similar to the pages of the #VancouverComeback campaign last summer and fall. After February, there will be many other elements rolling out including neighbourhood activations celebrating arts, culture and our city’s diversity, and a multi-media campaign featuring a call-to-action for locals to safely visit the city once again, and to do their part to keep Vancouver vibrant. We will share more details in the coming weeks.
As our campaign will promote open businesses and any special offers available to locals, we ask that you update your member web listings and business websites accordingly. Please log into the Member Extranet and update your open status and amenity information so it will appear on your listing on tourismvancouver.com:
